Our Mission
About RISE
In times of crisis, communities need more than just hope—they need real, immediate support. Our community relief and assistance program is dedicated to providing critical aid to individuals and families in cities impacted by natural disasters.
From distributing food and clothing to offering legal guidance and connecting residents with trusted contractors for rebuilding, our mission is to ensure that no one faces recovery alone. We work hand in hand with local organizations and volunteers to deliver timely, compassionate assistance that helps communities rebuild stronger and more resilient than before.

Resources
Our reach is far, and we work hard to team up with other foundations, nonprofits and projects who also wish to provide assistance. Partnering up allows us to have more resources, options and supplies to provide. The more people committed to helping, the bigger and better our gatherings can be for cities in distress.
Events
We frequently host Town Hall meetings getting the local residents in front of trusted and verified services professionals to help them with their rebuilding needs. From lawyers managing your insurance claim, contractors to rebuild your home, local food banks for fresh groceries or people helping with clothing needs; we gather all the different types of help you need in one spot.

Alex R. Straus
Partner - Milberg LLP
Alex R. Straus has represented consumers, labor unions, and municipalities throughout the United States in practice areas ranging from complex tort and personal injury to antitrust and securities litigation. His practice is currently centered on environmental litigation, specializing in California wildfire cases. Mr. Straus currently serves on the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee for the 2025 Eaton Fire litigation against Southern California Edison while also representing victims of the 2025 Palisades Fire in litigation against the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. He represented the lead plaintiff in the 2021 Huntington Beach oil spill litigation which recovered more than $10 million for homeowners and businesses in Orange County, California. Over the course of his career, Mr. Straus has successfully litigated cases resulting in over $800 million of recovery for consumers and victims of environmental disasters.
